Silicon micropowder
Quartz sand is an important industrial mineral raw material, widely used in glass, casting, ceramics and refractory materials, metallurgy, construction, chemical industry, plastics, rubber, abrasives and other industries.
Fused silica sand
Chemical Composition: SiO2: 99.9~99.99%; Fe2O3: 10PPM~25PPM; Max Li2O content: 1~2PPM; Max Al2O3 content: 20~30PPM; Max K2O content: 20~25PPM; Max Na2O content: 10~20PPM.
High-purity quartz sand
SiO2 ≥99.5~99.9%, FeO ≤0.005%, made from carefully selected and finely processed Grade 1-3 natural quartz crystals and high-quality natural stones. Particle size ranges from 1~0.5mm, 0.5~0.1mm, 0.1~0.01mm, and 0.01~0.005mm.
refined quartz sand
SiO2 ≥99~99.5%, Fe2O3 ≤0.02~0.015%, made from selected high-quality ore through complex processing. Particle size range: 5~480 mesh, can be produced according to customer requirements, appearance white or crystalline. Main uses: high-grade glass, glass products, refractory materials, smelting stones, precision casting, grinding wheel abrasives, etc.
Ordinary quartz sand
SiO2≥90~99%, FeO ≤0.06~0.02%, Refractoriness 1750~1800℃, Appearance: some large particles, surface with yellow skin encapsulation. Particle size range: 5~220 mesh, can be produced according to customer's requirements. Main applications: metallurgy, silicon carbide, glass and glass products, enamel, cast steel, water filtration, sodium silicate, chemical industry, sandblasting, etc.
Quartz sand
Quartz sand is a hard, wear-resistant, chemically stable silicate mineral, with SiO2 as its main mineral component. Quartz sand comes in a variety of colors, often milky white, colorless, or gray. It has a hardness of 7, is brittle, has no cleavage, and exhibits a conchoidal fracture. It has a greasy luster, a density of 2.65 g/cm³, and its chemical, thermal, and mechanical properties exhibit significant anisotropy. It is insoluble in acids and slightly soluble in KOH solution, with a melting point of 1750℃. It is piezoelectric.
Quartz gemstone
When quartz crystals contain tiny bubbles or liquid-filled fissures, they can produce a rainbow effect through light interference, making them suitable for exquisite jewelry. Empress Josephine, the wife of Napoleon, possessed a dazzling collection of gems, including jewelry made from rainbow quartz.
Quartz applications
Quartz is one of the most abundant minerals on the Earth's surface, and it has a wide range of uses. As early as the Stone Age, people used it to make simple tools such as stone axes and arrows to hunt for food and fight enemies. In quartz clocks and electronic devices, piezoelectric quartz slices are used as standard frequencies; when melted, it can be used to make optical instruments, glasses, glass tubes and other products; it can also be used as bearings for precision instruments, grinding materials, glass ceramics and other industrial raw materials.
